Taunton, MA: April 2, 2008: AGAR, New England’s largest independent broadline food distributor will host their 9th annual food show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA on April 9, 2008. Show hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Over 250 vendors in the AGAR network will have a presence at the April Food Show. Vendors will be featuring products including Beef, Seafood, Pork, Lamb, Poultry as well as Non-Foods, Dry & Frozen Grocery items. The food show is open to any AGAR customer as well as anyone looking to AGAR for future food distribution needs.
Over 1200 people, mostly independent restaurant operators are registered to attend AGAR’s food show. Many will be looking to AGAR to help them provide profitable solutions to counter the historic rise in food costs.

This past fall, AGAR announced that they appointed veteran Boston area Chef
Jeffrey Merry to take on the role of corporate executive chef. Merry a Natick
Mass resident will work closely with independent restaurant operators to help
them with menu solutions and cost-cutting resolutions to
assist them in becoming more profitable.
