Japanese Restaurants
Japanese cuisine is based on combining staple foods such as rice or noodles, with a soup, and dishes made from fish, meat, vegetable, tofu. These are typically flavored with dashi, miso, and soy sauce and are usually low in fat and high in salt.
Perhaps the most popular Japanese style food today is Sushi. Thousands of Sushi bars and restaurants have sprung up in the last ten years. Sushi menus are focused on fresh fish served uncooked. Sushi is made of vinegared rice combined with other ingredients (uncooked and in some cases cooked) such as fish or vegetables.
